Members of Cluster A presented a paper titled “Bureaucratic Incentives in Authoritarian Diplomacy? Observations from China’s “Wolf Warrior” Diplomats” at the Japanese Society for Quantitative Political Science (JSQPS) 2025 Winter Meeting Program, held on January 5, 2025. This paper analyzes X (formerly Twitter) tweets of Chinese diplomats to understand their tweets’ extent, timing, and contents.
